New and Improved Tool Management Software – ToolManager 2020

RealVision releases a new updated version of their tool management software, ToolManager 2020. This latest version, ToolManager 2020, adds 40+ new features and integrates two new optional modules. A tool to exchange interface with MasterCAM and an Andriod Tool Scanning App Module which is now available to customers who use ToolManage SQL Version. RealVision has also released a vastly enhanced version of Requestor which will stream line job changeovers and tool tracking. Also is an upgraded version of ToolManager Enterprise Manager, a system which allows a company to centralized tool management for multiple plant locations. Having Enterprise Manager increases the ability to control costs by managing tool purchasing, calibration, tracking, inventories, tool issuing and crib activity. Managers can manage and monitor the tool cribs from any PC or a wireless device if off site or at a different plant.

Tool Management Software to Track and Report Data

Another feature that sets RealVision’s tool management software, ToolManager 2020, apart from other tool and crib management systems is its ability to track and report data for standard reporting using predefined templates for critical information, including inventory value, cost per job, tool usage and history. Users can export data from ToolManager’s database to external tools like MS Excel and Crystal Reports for custom reporting needs.

Location and life cycle for multiple tool cribs, project, stock levels and obtaining real time information on a company’s tooling cost are all components the ToolManager tool management system offer. The system integrates easily with existing ERP or MRP software or can be used as a stand alone solution.

Originally created in 1994, ToolManager has been consistently upgraded to continue to solve issues encountered in manufacturing and machine shop floors. This new release of tool management software has enhanced features that allow users even greater flexibility to customize a tooling system that works best to meet their needs.

ToolScan Android App – Tool Logging and Tracking System

Tool Manager’s ToolScan Android App is used to update Tool Manager with the actions performed by Android phones or pads with bar code scanning capabilities. Some of the features supported by the App are logging tools in and out of the crib, recovering tools and gages from the shop floor, receiving new tools into the crib, checking gage certifications …. and more. With the new App changes are applied in real-time with no necessity to have to “download”. This App opens up many new possibilities in managing your tooling inventory and help to reduce costs!

Notice our new look? RealVision is excited about the release of our new website, featuring our state-of-the-art DNC software system (WebDNC), tool management system (ToolManager), document management software (DocManager) and preventative maintenance system (RPM). Not only do we have a fresher look, but our content is better organized for our clients and potential customers to navigate.

A Closer Look at RealVision’s Manufacturing Software

Each software program is featured individually, with more in depth information about the program and screen shots to give a sneak peek of the programs. Each product’s data sheet shows the features and benefits of the program to help customers better determine whether our systems will be the right fit for their manufacturing shop floor needs. We will soon be adding video demos of our systems as well, to give new customers an opportunity to see our programs in action. We continue to offer live remote demos and encourage those interested to call us, as it is the easiest way to see our program’s features and capabilities.

A Better Way to Update the Software

Our existing customers will notice the changes made to our updates page. Depending on the version, Fox Pro, SQL or Oracle, customers can go into that tab and select the updates they would like to download. Existing customers on the maintenance agreement can download these updates weekly, monthly, however often desired, by entering their username and password. Customers are able to keep their version of the software completely up to date easily and quickly, making IT’s job simple.
